I know I'm not following the rules but I have a riddle for you guys

A man walks into a bar and orders a glass of water. The bartender pulls a gun on the man. The man thanks the bartender and leaves. Why?

Because the nozzle for the water is gun-shaped, like in most bars.

Marshal, this riddle perplexes me, and so I feel the right to say that I hate you for wanting to tear my brain out and beat it against the wall. I'm still thinking about what the answer could possibly be (my best guess at present would be an atomic bomb or something, but that simply can't be right...riddles like this are meant to have simple answers).
