Dude, I get that winning is something that's pretty important for some people but seriously, the point of the game is to have fun by being intuitive and coming up with your own strategies, I mean of course even if they come up with it themselves, people are bound to have the same deck at some point but at least THEY thought of it and can take pride in their strategic prowess rather than the depths of their wallets. Gladiator Beasts and Blackwings are the worst things that could have happened to yu-gi-oh(That is if you discount the internet, but as we all know the internet ruins everything) because they've been almost completely thought out by the creators of the game before they're even released to the public.

It's terrible that it's at the point where if somebody loses one match they drop out of the tournament because they can't get the grand prize (happened to me last saturday). Can you believe it? the point is to have fun with it and the fucker just dropped out because he wasn't going to win.

I challenge any and all of you to come up with a great deck without referencing the internet (for anything other than card lists)

I hated the tournament I went to, It wasn't fun because it was all meta-gamed bullshit from the internet, make to Rape the other guy for all that they're worth while not even having fun in the process.

Let people run their Glad beasts and Blackwings, just come up with something on your own for once and remember the point of the game or any strategy game for that matter, have fun and use your own wits and mental resources to win, not the internet's.

I likey your rant, was kewl :D....but yes...some people (me) do just go and make meta decks to own and get free stuff....but in the mean time i have alot of fun too....i go hang out at local shop get to know people and fuck around.....there is tons of fun and tons of prizes.....BW FTW!

Koa'ki Meiru, has a nifty anti-meta play-style. I'mma running it once Ancient Prophecy is released state side and I can get some substantial cards for it.

I got that card, sounds kinda stupid, never seen a core thing for it, though I'm happy, I got a Destiny Hero Plasma tin today by pure accident for $12.99 :D

There a lots of Koa'ki Meiru cards, they all just revolve around the core card, Which I have two of.
