Warner Bros. just announced today that they are pushing back Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince's release date from this November, to JULY FUCKING 17TH.
Why? Because they feel it is the "ideal window for a family tent pole release."
And on top of that, they failed to share this information sooner, so the trailer is going to be played with the new Star Wars animated film, and there is an article published in the issue of Entertainment Weekly that hits stands today, both of which will announce the release date as being in November.
I'm. fucking. pissed.
They delayed the movie eight goddamn months just so they could get a better release date? People will go see it no matter what. Its Harry fucking Potter, for christ's sake.
Did I mention I'm pissed? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
