Car crash, when he was doing Driver's Ed with a 15 year old kid from Chisago.
T-boned by a SUV who ran a red light.

Apparently, Neil Stoeckel was still alert after the accident, and discussed what had happened, to make sure the child knew it wasn't his fault. "We had the green, right?"

He was 58.

It made it to channel 11, channel 5 (KSTP), and the Star Tribune.

Yeah, they were talking about it at Driver's training yesterday. Somewhat ironic/coincidencial cause just the day before we were talking about how idiots run red lights and how you should always make sure no one is about to run a red.
