For the extremely retarded out there:

Press Fn+Prt Sc to copy exactly what is displayed on your monitor at a particular moment. When using a browser, be sure to hit F11 to go into full screen mode beforehand to get the best result.

Open GIMP, go File>Create>From Clipboard, or press Shift+Ctrl+V to paste your image into the program.

On your toolbox window you'll have a rectangular selection tool, it'll be the upper-leftmost tool on default settings. Click it.

Use the selection tool to highlight whatever it is in the image you want.

Once you're sure you've got what you want, go Image>Fit Canvas to Selection to crop the picture to only what you've selected.

Then go File>Save As and save it wherever you like as a .png .jpg .bmp or whatever, if it asks you to flatten the image because of transparencies, do so.

Upload the image to your favorite image host, and post the image on the forum or wherever else.
