Ouran High School Host Club - the Eng. Dub.

Alright ladies and germs, its time to discuss one of my favorite topics as of late.
The English dub of the amazing anime Ouran High School Host Club.

Its being dubbed by Funimation, which is truly a great thing.
This means it won't go the way of the Death Note dub!
Hooray for good voice acting!~

The main cast list hasn't been released yet, but thus far the cast for minor roles is excellent.
We have Winry from FMA directing, and the actors in the cast thus far have played roles such as Trunks from DBZ, Alphonse Elric from FMA, Rinslet [fanservice] Walker from Black Cat, and Kimblee in FMA.

The main cast list will be released at Anime Expo, which is coming up July 3rd.

Vic Mignogna [my favorite voice actor] auditioned for the male lead, and I'm rooting for him. I really hope he gets the role, because I think he would be perfect for it. But given the way casting is going so far... even if he doesn't get it, the person who ends up in that position will be somebody with great talent.

I'm super duper pumped~

well i have never read nor seen oran host club however i hear it is quite popular

perhaps i will watch it once it comes out in eng dub

I can't wait to find out the whole list, and seeee it ^_^.

oh, and Durham Glaster from Black Cat is the other new addition to the cast.

And omgs I totally just read that, the voice actor for armstrong was in fruits basket ... which, ok, I'm sure you told me buuuuuut, you didn't say he was Ayame O_O. He is sooo freaking AMAZING lol. This will be interesting to watch. Because yeah .... freaking Ayame **if you don't know who that is, it's Yuki's older brother, you know the snake, he's all sorts of flamboyant and shit**

Though, on funimation.com/ouran their countdown says one more day...
but in an announcement they said Friday, July 4th at 11:30AM [pacific].

I'm going by that announcement, and hoping their countdown is just off. I mean, they've been releasing names on fridays so this would make the most sense.
