Six is not huge! Five is a normal 4.0 group.

Justin is right though, last time we played with like 10 people, and it really wasn't that fun.

Well, yeah. Ten is double the normal. It takes too long for turns, and all that. Splitting groups either means one group plays at a time, or we drag a second DM into this. I'd vote we take turns, otherwise it turns into a bigger mess than before.

Lame? or completely awesome.

2 DMs follow the same scenario to a T, and then you have the two teams that take on the identical quest at the same time.

You really could see who would do better in terms of teams, not to mention that since both teams would be essentially doing the same thing, they wouldn't wanna switch games because "the other campaign seems better".

I think it's quite the concept. I approve.

I dunno, I kind of wanted to all play together, especially since we haven't seen each other in so long. Even if turns take forever, I just have fun playing together whether or not we progress super far in the game.

I mean, who do we have playing:
Me, Shell, Dare-bear, Justin, Xander, Randy, Marshall, Ben. (and Brentt DMing).
Unless I'm missing someone thats only like 8 people playing. Its kind of a big group, but we've done worse... i think.

Thats just my opinion.

Also, Brentt wanted me to tell you all of his idea for his campaign. He says:
"Tell peole it'll be in a country run by worshipers of Asmodius, and they should be anything that would be opposed to it. Whether they're just good people or evil thugs who don't like restrictions on who they can rape and murder is up to them. Just hate ubertyrany. Or of course they could want to be the ubertyrant instead. That works too."

Since we're planning this so far ahead, we should get Ryan in on this, he's a great team resource in DnD, not to mention I gotta sick Elf deck in Magic to show him.

Did we talk about his being a pot luck deal? I think that everyone should bring something. That way Amanda isn't getting everthing, it's only fair.

At the moment, I work from 9:30am-6pm on the 6th.
I'll see if someone will switch shifts, but no guarantees.

if you're late that's no big deal, I have my nephews birthday party that day too so if you can't switch shifts it'll be ok.

He may or may not be coming. He works a night shift on the 6th, and his schedule for the 7th isn't out yet. If he works the 7th he's going to -try- to get someone to take that shift, and just show up super late (like... midnight. lol.) on the 6th. We'll see.

And yeah, if people wanted to bring things that would be awesome~

@ Marshall: Dont worry too much about it, I expect that'll be the time people end up showing up anyway, even if they plan to come earlier. Thats just how it normally goes. rofl.
