Guild Wars 2

A new trailer is up; you will watch it, you will like it, and if I have my way, eventually you will play it (because like the first, there's not supposed to be any subscription fees)!

That's some sexy gameplay.
Maybe I'll try it.
But most likely only after I try KotOR III.

I have heard much of that game series, but never actually seen it, either in stores or on somebody's computer. Personally, it sounds like it has potential, but the fact that it exists within the preconceived Star Wars world (assuming I've got the right game ><) takes away a bit of the "magic" for me.

Well, KotOR I and II were for Xbox, and were simply RPG's. They were good games, though.
KotOR III is a MMORPG for PC, so we'll see how that works out.

Ok, I'm really looking forward to GW 2 now, because GW is terrible now. Now that I've linked my post to the topic, it's about time for my nerd rant (I'm entitled to one of these every month or so).

Sooo, guild wars, they piss me off. I just wrote a two paragraph rant about it, and I realized I wasn't even close to being either done or coherant. Suffice it say that this latest patch to Guild Wars contains many skill nerfs; there was not a single skill buff. Wanna know what skills got nerfed? The ones that are used in 90% of PvP builds. I can't wait to see what the new meta will be like. That and selfless spirit. They nerfed a PvE skill, one that can't be used in PvP. Somehow, this skill is overpowered, while a shadow form assassin can literally solo the game's challenge missions and farm the rarest items in the game without ever being hit once. Ya, good one Anet.

I know Admiral, I know. WoW is clearly a trap, and thousands of people know it too. Want to know how they get caught? They look at the glowing blue bug-zapping light:
