There's no pattern, there IS a hold function that let's you hold a block until you need it, which can give the illusion of a pattern, but there is no pattern, that is not tetris. What you're describing is basic randomization in action. Yes, after so long you will get a long block, and yes after so long you get two long blocks, especially if you were already holding one. That's probability for you.
I swear, it's too random for its own good. Giving me everything I DON'T need and heaping it onto my growing pile. *snarls*

Fine then get rid of McAfee and lose all your start up programs and excess services, and then disable NTFS compression, clean out the temporary folders including logs, preferences for all users, internet files, recycle bin, install logs, etc., optimize your drive after deleting the page file, or migrating it to another drive then resize the page file to an appropriate setting after optimization, clean and optimize the resgistry, update, restart, set windows performance settings to max performance and use firefox with no more than three extensions and tabs running.
