| (Psst. I is being unable to host an image due to the fact that I'm actually using your email. For now, here's a simple link:) I walk up the deck and pick it up, taking a look at the top card as I have seen others do. http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Behemoth_the_King_of_All_AnimalsWell, that's a lovely specimen now isn't it.I start shuffling my deck. Normally I'd insist on cutting your deck, but this giant holo-stadium is quite conveniently in the way; I wonder what Kaiba-Corp was thinking.I set the deck down and draw five cards. You may have the honor of the first play. | |

| Somebody put a lolcat in my deck...
I summon Rescue Cat to the field.http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Rescue_CatBy sacrificing my Rescue Cat, I can search my deck for two lower level beast monsters and bring them into play; too bad they die at the end of my turn, but that works for me. I special summon Nimble Momonga and Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat.http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Nimble_Momongahttp://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Crystal_Beast_Amethyst_CatCrystal Beast Amythist Cat can attack you life points directly for half damage! and Nimble Momonga will instead attack your gemini elves, killing it, but netting me one thousand life points to negate its death, and I can special summon two more in face down defense mode. Instead of destroying my cat, I'll put her in the spell and trap card zone, where I'll also place two cards face down. Your move.

| "I draw. I place one card face-down, and switch Blade Rabbit to attack position. Manticore of Darkness: attack Toon Dark Magician Girl!"
(no I really have no idea where we left off at, or what I have facedown or in my hand already. I think it's something like 1 card held, 2 cards facedown. If you are interested enough to post your next turn, I'll read back on my notes and figure out what's what. EDIT: That's how we should do it next time! Make a list of the card order of our deck (up to, say, the first 15-20 cards) before the game and stick to it. That way, we don't automatically come up with counters to our opponent's moves (barring, of course, general courtesy and such). Well, at least, that's what I'm likely to try.

i have been meaning to try a deck and play by post would allow me to see it in action remember ban lists apply NOOOOOOOO!!! Not the ban list! I'd be up for trying another duel, Justin, but i can't guarantee that I'll be at the top of my game. It's been a long time since I've seen any new cards, and the wiki is just a pain in the neck to have to use (and slow as molasses in January). How would we be running it? Impromptu? Set order? Random draw (using a dice roller randomizer)?

| inpromtu
though a dice rolling randomizer would work...
mmm perhaps we should craft 40 card decks with lists and then we put numbers to each card...
then i could make a 40 sided dice to roll
actually yeah lets do that
make a 40 card deck | |

| thinking back on it
the dice dont have an exclude feature...
so we are going to have to inpromtu the whole thing

| Well, you could always manually exclude duplicate numbers (re-roll dead numbers) but that would get difficult fast. Alternatively, you could make a die 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. all the way up to 40, and simply have the ranks slide down as you go.
So, on the first turn, you'd need a hand of 5 cards from a 40 card deck. For the first roll, roll a 40-sided die, then a 39-sided die, then a 38 sided die, etc. the randomizer will be able to handle it even if physical dice couldn't. I'll admit, it's complicated though, so impromptu would work as well.
Whichever. I'll get back to you when I have something to work with (namely, a deck idea that hasn't been done over and over).
